Well once i got it back it didn't take me long to get started on the rear. Got some new u bolts and just cut the old ones out. re used the spring perches and got everything back in without having to remove the leaf springs. I just finagled it all back in there. lol the rear i measured in front of the back tire and its at 11" and behind the front tire its 10".
Rear End is outa there:
Perches Ground off:
Perches Relocated:
After wiggling it back into position:
New U Bolts (Still had to trim them down because they were so long):
Cut Out Wheel Tubs and fit on wheels and tires:
And the final product:

Added up my running total so far and it's at $3171. It surpassed the 3g mark after I bought the bag kit and some shorty headers to get the exhaust tucked up better and not below the frame like the long tubes were. I've got to finish the exhaust and some new fuel lines and some odds and ends. I'm sure it'll be up to about $4000 when I'm close to bn done.

Got all my air ride in and have started on the rear first. Set the truck level from front to back on jack stands and started removing the unnecessary. Cut off old leaf springs and all shackles from the frame. Removed all that and the axle, then cut the center of the floor out for my step notches and all the goodies. Did fish welds or whatever you call them on both sides of the notches to make sure they were sturdy as well.
(Fish Welds)
Step notches are just setting on top of frame. They aren't welded in yet.
