well, keep an eye on it. i'll post how I do mine when I get it done. I posted an entry on what I was going to do, but no one responded. I'll have pictures next time.
Looking good did mine awhile ago and its day and night difference in the way the truck handles. Im actually in the process of tearing it apart again I know this sounds like blasphemy but I want to put a LQ9 in him. So anyone looking for a crate 340hp 306 from ford pan to carb including a t5 and the kit to install in these trucks hit me up less than 5k miles on it. Oh on the front being higher with the axle flip it is about a inch I heard that if you use the civilian shocks and springs it lowers it a little bit. Lastly do not buy the eaton springs they sent me 2 pairs to lower the vehicle both wrong no Idea where to go from there.

I've got everything written down that I've paid for and its under $1800 so far. It would be less then that but I'm paying a buddy to do the cv swap. The truck isn't going to be painted so that helps. Adding the bag kit I'm getting, 4 link, and notches I'm right around $3000
Little update. Buddy got the motor mounts finished and ready to start the final assembly. He'll have tighten up the crown Vic crossmember to the frame along with mount the sway bar. He's only had the truck 7 months. I'm finishing up some sanding on the front fenders I bought to replace the rotted ones and the tailgate. Also I've bought a 4 link and some awesome bag brackets for the front of the crown Vic. These are pictures that he sent me.
Checked the truck out last night. Motor is back in, power steering lines run, brake lines run, and the front clip of the truck is back on. Buddy said he was having a hard time with the wiring because it's been spliced into so much from previous owners and couldnt get the truck to do anything. Found out a wire from the solenoid had broke off. Got that fixed and it was all working again. Motor turned over and lights worked. He said I should have it back around Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
I got my step notch from a local machine shop. Gave the measurements of what I needed and they cut everything for me so now all I've got to do is weld it together and then into the frame.
Ok fellas GREAT NEWS!! My buddy is done with the truck and i am hopefully going to pick it up tomorrow as long as the weather permits it. we've been getting slammed with rain the past week and its supposed to rain until next weekend pretty much. Anyway took some pictures of the truck after he had moved it around and took it for a test drive to make sure it was all good. The pictures don't do it justice how how awesome the stance is in the front. It is way lower then what i expected it to be and its awesome. Now when i get it back home i plan on doing the axle flip in the back for now until i save up to get my bag kit. Here's what she looks like after the front is completed.
Went and got the truck yesterday and drove it about 12 miles back home. WOW is all I can say. This thing handles great especially with the wider mustang wheels and tires on the front. Now next step is to get the rear down closer to the earth and run new rear brake lines.
