I have a weird shaking that I assume is a misfire because now I can start to feel it in lower speeds, before it was just in like 30 - 40 when the overdrive kicks but now sometimes I am feeling it a lot. Usually if I punch the throttle it goes away but once I slow down and the overdrive kicks back in it comes back. It's like a shaking, it shakes my dash and IS VERY ANNOYING. I changed the fuel filter last weekend this would solve the misfiring, it did for like 2 days but it got even worse! Today I changed the spark plugs (Spark plugs looked clean), distributor cap and rotor and now it has an even WORSE idle, it sounds so ugly. I have no idea what to do! Any ideas?I changed the wires a month or two ago but today when I was trying to push them all down on the distributor cap I got shocked? Can it be the wires being faulty?
Unplug your green EGR vac line and plug it and see if it fixes it. There is a write up on the solution in the 300 i6 category.
Yeah I found that solution but I forgot to unplug the black wire for the battery so it can forget the settings, I will do it before school and see if it changes in the morning. Will report back. I also plugged the Vacuum with a plastic bag.
