8 lug conversion for 8.8

If I wanted to do a d60 swap up front, would I have to have a 10.25 to get the matching bolt patten or is there a way to convert the 8.8?

I can't tell you if there is or not, I would lean toward there not being a conversion though. The 8.8 is a decent axle but if you're pushing it enough to actually not need TTB then you may as well step up to the sterling rear for peace of mind as well as affordability. Sterling rears are cheap and you could readily find one with your gear ratio that would cost less than changing shafts and outers on the 8.8.

I am not aware of an 8 lug conversion for a 8.8" rear axle. Highly suggest swapping in a Sterling 10.25 if you are doing a D60 front axle swap.

For every D60 donor axle there is usually a 10.25" Sterling axle about 10 feet behind it with the same gear ratio etc.

If I were you I would get super duty axles that way you get newer parts, solid axles (even on f250's), and 4 wheels disk brakes. And like previous stated you could get both axles easily from one truck. And heck you could find a totaled out one and buy the while thing and maybe make some of your money back in the end.
