no start

So I am having a no hot start and a hard warm start issue again. Was wonderimg if a bad injector o ring can cause this and how to check to see which injector it is. I have replaced 6 injectors standpipes dummy plugs stc fitting. My ficim numbers are good 47.5 my icp is very low at 50.

Do an air pressure test. Yes, an injector o-ring could cause it.

The truck is a 2006 f250 4x4 so wwnt to start it this morning and it's not starting at all. I tried disconnecting the icp and nothing. My fuel filter is due to be changed and pretty dirty could the fuel filter cause the no start and the low icp#?

No, fuel pressure has nothing to do with the icp. Like noted above, air test it and listen for leaks.

Well I guess I will be building a tool to do this today. Do I need to command the ipr to close? To do this can I just get two wires on an old ipr connector and put them to the battery for half a min and will that close the ipr? When doing the air test do I need to pull the valve covers to hear the leak

So I did the air test and heard a very loud hissing from the passenger side rear part of the valve cover. So I pulled everything apart and I pulled the oil rail and stand pipe and low and behold I found the source of the air leak the o rings on both parts of the stand pipe are shot one is broke down the middle and just toast the other at the bottom is all miss shaped. Pretty sure that's what has caused my no start issue

Right on, glad you found it! You might want to consider doing the other side at the same time, chances are they're not far behind.

The other side was done about 4,000 miles ago.

So would I be right about assuming that the bad o rings would cause a no start issue
