So the guy at Powerstrokehelp.c.... said there is some certain way to put the rev x in your motor. Is that true or can you just add it in with the oil? And where is the cheapest place to buy it? Saw it for $65 for the two bottles. Is that about right?
From what I have been told it has something to do with concentration at initial startup. Maybe a bonding issue internally. But I researched it and the actual guys who make it said it has a better track record doing it that way. Took me about a hour and a half total including oil change to do it.
Unless your set on trying rev-x you may also be interested in looking at archoil 9100. It's about half the price of rev-x and most people have had good success with their product. Some have also claimed that they both have the same basic chemicals.
