Bubbles in oil? [IMPORTANT]
I got a little hint from a friend earlier today, and they said something about bubbles in the oil.
Without telling you guys what he said, I wanna know what you guys said.
When I went to check my dipstick, there were bubbles all over the dipstick..
What does that mean?

Are you talking a few small bubbles? Or a lot of odd colored ones, like muddy grey or cloudy oil?

Not important, doesn't mean a thing. If you think there is something wrong with the engine, it will give other signs.

Depends on the bubbles
A few bubbles are normal.
Lots of little bubbles, overfilled and the crank is aerating the oil (easy enough to notice on your dipstick)
Muddy brown/chocolate milk bubbles, coolant in your oil.

If you're worried about gas in your oil, smell your oil. Simple enough

Okay... So... I don't need to worry about that.
However, gas in the oil could wear out the bearings, because I believe that my fuel pump is leaking into the oil... Which could wear out the bearings and lead to the engine seizing, correct?
So, bubbles in the oil or not, I have a gas leak and the suspect is the fuel pump leaking into the oil.
So, I need to replace the fuel pump, fuel filter, oil, and oil filter.
Correct?

If you can smell gas in the oil, then yes, you need to fix it.

wouldn't fumes from the breather tube from the air cleaner going into the valve cover where you pour oil in make the oil pick up the smell of gas?

If your oil is fuel fouled you will know it by smelling it. There is a huge difference from the byproduct and raw fuel being dumped into the oil.
