I had my C-6 transmission rebuilt. All shifts great after my shift kit. My question is now it seems that my speedometer is off. I think maybe even 10 miles faster than I am going, plus the needle is now bumping. Does anyone here know what to do? It never did this before.
One thing I did to check the accuracy of my speedo was to download a speedometer app on my phone and compare the two. The app works off of GPS. I discovered that I am about 5mph heavy at ~45mph, and about 10mph heavy at ~70mph. Eventually I may try to change out the gear....

All good points. Lube is definetly needed, and checking all the connections. The App idea I never really thought of so good tip there to check, but I know I am really off. I said damn, this fix on the intake and carb sure helped out
2X John. My 1st thought was the tranny shop mixed up your output shaft (with the speedo gear attached) with another. To slow down the speedo add more teeth to the speedo driven gear on the end of the cable. Each tooth is 3-5 MPH.
