Treating one thing and one thing only is easier but not necessarily effective.

what's a van weigh empty ? 5500 ?
Close! My '03 E250 w/5.4 completely empty, Michelin LTX 245's on steel wheels no spare tire without occupants tipped the Cat scales exactly at 5,300#, half tank of fuel IIRC.

Current same van is 7,860# +/- a few maybe.

I should have qualified my remark, as in, "assuming there are no defective parts involved".

I will extend my offer to also read your tea leaves if you would care to look through my telescope.

Rules of Engagment

Just to ask that we all play fair, I think some rules of engagement are in order:

1. The steering wheel will be cranked to the right and the front wheels are to be stationary, in the same position, for all four pictures.

2. The crank angle picture is with the bottom of the camera resting on the fender well located (fore and aft) above the axel.

3. The camber angle is to be captured with:
a. The camera lens horizontally positioned approximately in line with the outside side of the wheel as if there were no hub cap involved if there is a hub cap.
b. The camera lens vertically positioned at approximately axel height on a stand that ensures the camera bottom is parallel to the "even" ground on which the vehicle is parked.
c. A distance of 5-6 feet from the wheel is good. Close ups for camber is a no no

Older cameras are best at less then 3600 x 2736 pixels (2-2.5 MB). Newer cameras are an overkill and would make for much larger then required resolution.

Feel free to modify these rules of engagement and declare same.
