I think I decided on i'm going to yank out the 12v in my 71 project. And go a different route hehehe.
Not necessary. There was a guy a few years ago that swapped a p pump 6bt into a 1500 ram. It made 650hp and 1200 ft pb torque. He documented a several trips where is did 55 to 60 mph and achieved 55mpgs. Yes John, you read that right. 55 mpg. There were multiple articles written on the truck.

don't get me wrong. I didn't say anything about down sizing just switching it up and getting out of the 12v swap trend. Since I started mine years ago there have been an abundance of these swaps. I been on and off my project and putting a lot of cash into it to have some of the best of everything on the truck. So that put me behind the scheduled completion date I started with. I'm just going different so I don't have the same ole same ole as every other diesel swap. After all my work I put into it I don't want to just be another 12v cummins swapped truck. I dare to be different.
That's insane milage out of that high horse cummins surely amazing. I'll have to search into that more to see how he did it props to him for sure.
