Question Adaptive Cruise Control?

Any guesses if the 2016 F-250 will have adaptive cruise control?

I have no depth perception. For me, adaptive cruise control is the difference between hell and heaven when driving. If you couldn't tell that the car ahead of you is slowing down, could you relax?

The 2015 F-150 came out with ACC. My Volvo has ACC and it's actually relaxing during rush hour driving.

When can we get it in an F-250?

Good question. I would imagine it will be an option. We have it on our MKC and it works well.

From what i've read the circuit won't slow the truck down, it will just give a better boost to the braking system so when you hit the breaks it will be far more force than normal.

ACC does slow the car down--our MKX will slow/speed up based on the distance to maintain set in the system. It also has the panic braking pre-charge in case the computer notes you are approaching the ahead vehicle without having your foot on the brake--and all hell breaks loose with red lights on the windshield and alarms go off. Guarantee it will get your attention.

One of my gripes. Why should a guy like me need to learn about radar sensors?

Does make it harder for a tech to stay current.
