Psycho Cruise Control

Does anybody else think their cruise control has lost it? I'm on a cross country trip and I swear my cruise has lost it. It is very herky jerky and shifts way too low at times. I can keep a better speed and control using my foot, but I'd like not to driving through the flat lands of middle America. My cruise has never acted like this before, and I've never had a cruise control go bad on any other car or truck in the last 20 years.

It sounds like it's time for a Ford Dealership to get your cruise control to behave itself, Fleetsuper. Since you're on the road, you can enter your current ZIP code here to find some options: Ford Dealers | Locate a Ford Dealer Near You | Ford.com How many miles are on your truck currently?

Thank you Crystal, unfortunately I have a heavy schedule to keep so it will have to wait until I'm at home base again. I have just never run into this before, even when I was a fleet mechanic, never had a customer' scar or truck act like this.

Understood, Fleetsuper. Safe travels to you; be sure to come back and tell us any new information when you have this addressed.
