Getting that gen going made me all so more confident on rebuilding my engine because that thing sounds great!
This means that so far the only vehicle fixes I haven't done is:
transmissions (minus filter)
front and rear end
rust repair
and do a real paint job.
Which all of those I plan to be doing in the near future. LOL I plan to regear and rebuild my front and rear end on my 88 once I save up some money.
Trav
Ya I know they are tricky. Luckily the trans in my 88 is recently rebuilt and has the mods I wanted done internally already done.
Oh no I don't think I am ever done learning. The good news is I am in a community that doesn't mind showing me how to do a few things (for example the other day a guy showed me how to hook up a relay and an ignition switch.)
The bad news is some people don't always do everything right which I sometimes figure out. LOL

Well......I hit the jackpot once AGAIN, and got drawn for Unit 9 archery Bull. So I decided to celebrate, and buy a new hunting rig! 1995 Eddie Bauer Bronco.
Me to gigger. Just yesterday I found a 89 bronco 302 4x4 stick shift. If I had the money myself I would have bought it because it literally is the same price and same shape as my 88 was in when I got it.
By the way I believe I might be an idiot. LOL I thought the 69 we are hopefully going to be getting was a 302 but I think it might be a 360. I guess that is what I get for not knowing the older then 80 trucks. LOL
Trav
Ya that is the only thing holding me from having my 88 completely restomoded with a 408 stroker. LOL
I know we have our moments but this is the first time I went to look at a truck I knew absolutely not one thing about. For example I didn't know they had in cab tanks on 69s, or I didn't know their was a camper special in 69, and my favorite I didn't know how the darn tail gate opened on a 69. I might have to go back to the city if I don't know how to open a tailgate! LOL
At least I don't look like an idiot at work.
Trav
thanks gigger. The 408 sounds awesome but not as awesome as the 514 stroker with aftermarket efi and maybe a supercharger that I plan to build if I can ever find a 66 or 67 Fairlane convertible. LOL
All my buddies and my parents think I am crazy wanting a 66 or 67 only convertible farilane or mercury (preferably the merc actually) but I want to paint it candy apple red, 18x9s in the rear and 17x8 up front, crown vic front and rear end with the rear 4 linked, lowered 2" or so, built C6 trans, and full stereo system.
That car I also just want to be a cruiser car. LOL
I might be addicted to HP and TQ a bit to much.

nicce bronco Travis. we drew the limited opportunity hunt again. I think if that hunt is anywhere on your app you automatically get it. not a problem, have ranch privileges again so all tags will get filled.
