Today and yesterday just finished putting in a new starter, chasing all the wires, new switch, and still nothing. Most confusing thing I have ever seen.

A ballast resistor wouldn't cause this would it??

The plastic internals on the switch were wore out on mine. It had nothing to do with electrical components. It was just the crap plastic sticking....

Ya that is what was wrong on my Onan little gen but our big one I don't know just yet.

Right now taking a break from it and working on the other engines.
