currently working on R22, R44, R66 and bell 206 L3, I have also maintained 206 B 206 L1 412, AS350 D, BA, B2, B3, MD600N, EC135 T2, P2.
the L3 I am working on now is a retired LA fire ship, I took all their equipment out, stripped the interior and painted it, removed the engine and sent it off for a new turbine and repairs, pulled transmission for top case and sun gear inspection new MR blades, new 3year TT straps, new leather seats, 100 300 600hour 12 month 24 month inspections.

MD was always the worst to get parts for!
Eurocopter, was the best for getting parts.
Robinson was good for parts

And yes what he said made sense.

I am odd for a BC operator, as here bell is the most popular chopper. ...and yet i have zero.
For me the average bell seems like such an old way of doing things.
If i was going to get one it would be a 407gtx.
But likely never would.
I need stop gap sized machines.
Between the too small and too big.
