Good evening Pat!

Long 14 hour day for me today! But it is my friday as well since I go under the knife tomorrow and will be out of commission for the weekend. Nothing health wise, just having the ***** disconnected... lol

Good morning Pat!

A whole nice weather weekend of sitting on the couch looking out the window for me. Much less discomfort than I thought it would be. I wish I could be out in the shop setting up my new mill though.

Did the same operation about 10 years ago. Do exactly what the doc said to do.....NOTHING! I can't stress that enough. A friend of my older brother didn't listen to his doc , and had all sorts of complications. So, it's couch time and a bag of peas for you, Mister!!LOL

Besides, that mill isn't going anywhere!

Good Morning Pat!

I wish you good luck with your knee replacement. I have heard good results from the people I know that have had it done though. It is quite an amazing time where joints can be replaced with mechanical units. I imaging there comes the day a persons head can be just attached to a mechanical body and live on seemingly forever.

Morning Andy. I'm really looking forward to it. My left knee is bone on bone after the last two surgeries, and it hurts a lot. I know at least a dozen people that have had knee replacements, two of them had both done at the same time! Every one of them has said it's the best thing they've ever done. My doctor was a little concerned, that I'm having it done at 49, and that I might have to have it done again someday. I told him it was job security for him, then!LOL

So, everything feeling okay after your snipping?

If I needed it I was well would have both done at one time just to have it over with. Might be much harder to get back up and going afterwards but I would rather go threw allot once than some twice.

My snipping has been going good, thanks for asking! It has been allot less discomfort and really no pain than I thought it would be. In fact I feel as though I could do something but know I shouldn't.

I would do the same. I know the first few weeks would suck, but get it all over at once!! I may have to get my right knee done someday, but its not bad right now.

Its noon time!

Just holding this couch down. I do plan to start taking measurements and drawing up a part for the cnc here soon. Just have to poke around the house for a tape measure.
