Good morning Andy! Well, so much for the 4 day weekend. I will have to come in and work a 12 on Saturday. I guess that's better than having only one day off! Wow, our kids got out 2 weeks ago!
Andy, if we ever get this damn plant back up and running, I'll go back to a 5-8's schedule. Just found out startup got pushed back another 4 days. Wonderful.
Good morning Andy. Well, came in today, and the reactor is critical, which is a good thing. Now, just have to work out way up, to where we can spin the turbine, and hopefully, be making power by the end of the week.
I wish you the best of luck and a quick recovery from the knee replacement!
That seems to be a very common surgery these days. A guy on one of the welding forums I frequent is recovering right now from a knee replacement. He had both done one at a time. I am the kind that would have both done right away and get it over with one shot deal.
He did mention it sucks but after a short while the pain won't be to bad and you'll be up and getting around.
They've told me I'll be walking the next day. A gal here at work had both done also. I'm just looking forward to it not hurting anymore, and not living on Ibuprophen ever damn day!
I only know what I read on the forums about it. There may be different kinds of replacements that are faster and stuff. I just know the one guy said he may have been up on his feet and able to move the next day he said no where near capable of working. But I guess that can depend on what your work is.
He said it was more like 1 week and then he could move around ok but still didn't want to work yet.
Anyhow I hope you have a speedy recovery and all goes great. Take extra time for fishing!
