I believe Arizona refuses to do the time change, and they stay on DST always.
Unless something has changed, Hawaii doesn't change time either.
Here in Oregon: TUESDAY March 10, 2015
•The Senate Committee on Rules will hold public hearings on two bills that would abolish daylight saving time in Oregon. One would postpone the new law until 2021; the other would be effective immediately.
The committee meets at 3 p.m. in Hearing Room C.
Morning all! I lived in Arizona for 3 years and it was nice not having to deal with DST. I am tired and sore, worked late on the 78 truck, lots of in and out of the cab, damn I need those running boards installed lol Seems the choke needs tinkering still, thought it might die on my this morning. The joys of old trucks lol
Nope. We'll keep working on all of them! Nice thing about this contract is it will put 6-8 thousand bucks in our pocket. More than enough to build the new bike addition on the shop and fund some other projects as well...
About 10 years ago the mine tore down their old main office because there was black mold in the basement, it was a 2 story building and all the floor joists were 4x12" Douglas Fir. It had brand new windows installed only a few years before they decided to tear it down. There was a couple employees that wanted a contract to tear it down to salvage the timber and the windows but the mine manager said no and had a local contractor come in with an excavator and demolish it all and hauled to the dump. Those timbers alone would be worth a small fortune plus all the office furniture among other things.
The LLC was quoted $24,000 to have it removed. We will generate 8-10 thousand off the salvage. It has 4 6"X9"X 22' beams in the roof. I have them sold to a contractor in Seattle already. Tons of 2x8x22' rafters, and almost 7,000 sf of 1"x8" solid planking.
