Morning Don, Pat, Allen, Sunshine and Rob.
The sunshine predicted has not manifest itself yet.
Sun is coming up over the Cascades and a little bit is poking through the clouds but it's way more cloudy that I thought it would be.

The 312 would be the only thing worth anything. If it's good......

That's what I was thinking, part the truck and keep the engine.

But the only thing any good with the 312 is the crank and rods. 312 blocks are junk if you want to make real horsepower...

Kinda like a 302 in a X-cab 4x4 F-150.
I believe the T-bird 312 had some extra carbs and breathing ability too.

I'm hoping there is no drizzle or rain. Local forecast is not calling for any, but this is Oregon.
Car overheated yesterday. About a gallon and a half of radiator fluid went someplace. Had a gallon of water in the trunk for the dogs, put that in and it seemed to solve the heat problem, but now I have diluted anti-freeze in the radiator that will have to be cleared out. Don't want to do that until I find out where the problem is. Thankfully there is no sign of water in the oil and no wet spots on the ground underneath. Rather baffling.
