What do you know of the history of this truck?...........did the PO run it hard and abuse it?
Sometimes exhaust leaks from cracked ex. manifolds can mimic knocks and rattles, the 460 has a history of cracked ex. manifolds.

I have been running and occasionally abusing Ford motors since the late 70s, I have never bent a push-rod.

Melody's snoring rattled windows and could wake the dead, but not any more! She had sleep apnea and now uses a CPAP machine. NO MORE SNORING!

Good morning Oregon FTE gang and friends.

I have som sad news... It started sprinkling at 0437. The rain is on its way to your place Don. Hopefully the Cascades suck most of it up before it gets there.
I have sleep apnea. I waited forever to do something about it too.
When I finally had the sleep test done I tested in the "severe" area. I stopped breathing 49 times an hour. No wonder I was always tired.
With my cpap machine I feel more rested and my wife can sleep too.

We only have a 20% chance of rain today. We are East of Mt Hood and the weather patterns seem to split over the mountain and go south and north of us. Supposed to be sunny again tomorrow tho!
Melody's CPAP machine made a huge difference for her. When they tested her she never went into REM sleep. Now she sleeps just fine!
