Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just getting home with a load of pellets. Have to get them unloaded then I think we will head into Dallas for Diesel, dinner and milk. Stop by the farm on the way to Dallas.
Sorry about the Banks Store Don. I had totally and completely forgotten all about them when we were talking metal earlier. When I was still designing and putting pole barn packages together (2nd career I was shanghaied into), the Banks outfit were selling metal, 100 ct and 250 ct bags of neoprene washer screws about 15 to 20% cheaper than we could even buy them for. Can't even remember the name of the place now.
We have 3 pole barns out on the farm. The oldest was put up in 83/84. My sister has one. We haven't had any leaking problems. There is a specific torque for the washers and as long as you hit it right, they shouldn't be a problem. Flatten them too much or not enough and you will have problems sooner rather than later.
Jim, do you ever smell coolant while driving?
My bet is a fitting/hose/connection that only leaks while motoring down the road.........look for coolant loss on the under-carriage after a drive.
Evening Oregon FTE Gang and Friends. The work week is on the down hill slide.
Don if I had a trailer I would pick up your roofing for you, banks is an hour from me and on my when heading east.
Edit I could kick my drift boat off it's trailer depending on the weight of your roofing.

Indeed. Sad truth of the matter.
I only yell when needed. Either they are violating safety protocol or are playing on their phone and not working on requirements when there is an open spot for them to weld. Only time I yell about welding is if they are destroying something, making a PEN15, or welding someone to a table.
I did yell four times today. Twice for dilly boppin on devices. Twice for safety. One kid got it twice, first was for dilly boppin, second time he almost lost a finger playing on his phone.... Had i not grabbed him he would be missing a digit or two. I then got on his case bout it.
I throughly enjoy the kids that put effort into a class, especially those who dont care much for it. Most think its an easy A (although there a few with natural talent, parents who do it and they do it already, and those who develop a passion for it (me) who find it easy), but find out its not. I volunteer my time with the intro Metals 1A class and intern for a 1B, the 1A has a bunch of hooligans but some I managed to get going and they are succeeding. Have to say, nothing like mentoring a kid and setting them on a good path and seeing them succeed.
Metals 1B can be a bit lethargic, but are usually good groups, lots of constructive advice. The naturally talented one get really dang good by the time im done with em. I will nit pick those kids. If there willing to work, I become more of a teacher than the actual teacher...
Guys seem to work harder when I poke fun at them, there are some girls who can weld. The look of determination when they realize a chick is doing better than them is a male dominat field
