Jim, do you ever smell coolant while driving?
My bet is a fitting/hose/connection that only leaks while motoring down the road.........look for coolant loss on the under-carriage after a drive.
If I have time today I will probably do that. I idled it yesterday for quite some time and got it up to normal operating temp. Tried several different things but never got it beyond that. The only time the fans would kick on is when the compressor came on, and they were running at a very low speed.
I want to get the water/diluted anti-freeze out and the proper mix in before running it too much. I'm hoping to have time this afternoon to do that.

Unless they have the metal sheets in a support frame, which they usually don't do until they get into at least 20' or longer stuff, it may not be a good idea to transport 16' 6" metal on a drift boat trailer. Could very easily crease the metal sheets. Used to be a $50 charge on the wood support frame with $25 returned upon return of the support frame.
Metal should be on a flat surface like the deck of a utility trailer - flat bed etc. Hard points with no support between the hard points can cause creases through the entire bundle of metal sheets when you hit a bump.
Evening Oregon FTE Gang, survived an other day on Hwy 101.

I will guess more then my drift boat trailer will handle.
It's been a very busy week...
