Yep, came in for some lunch, checked the news and they were just making the announcement and playing a taped resignation message.
You are right on the replacement. She is a big pusher for getting all illegals drivers licenses and the motor voter law where anytime you register a car, get an ODL or and ID card at DMV they automatically register you whether or not you want to be registered. So.....the fun will continue. Portland and Eugene set themselves up for an Obama / Biden sort of thing and it looks like "Obama" is gone and Biden is in.
Don't get me wrong. As a LEO in Roseburg I knew Dr. John through his work at the Hospital and Harvard Urgent Care Center which is where we took our kids when they did the wild kid thing. (Plus both boys played football in jr. high and HS.) He was O.K. as a person, actually a pretty decent person, but I never really could stomach his politics. Later, his partners in the medical practice complained frequently that they were having to cover for him while he was in Salem. (Senator in those days.)

yeah it was fun while it lasted but even the last year it was open it just wasn't the same. They even removed all of the taxidermy. It sits vacant now. They are doing this whole downtown renovation thing and am curious if they have any plans for the building. The Trails is still open though. lol

How capable of handling a camper is that GMC?
I have another truck I can buy too.... 76 3/4 ton ford, 300 + 4s, plus camper. may not buy the truck, may buy the camper though.....

It was already set up for a camper. It has overloads and twin fuel tanks in the bed. That's why the bottom of the box is in such good shape...
