Have seen these elk a couple times when I take an alternate route home so tonight I stopped for pictures and a look.

Some light rain during the night. Sun is peaking through a hole in the clouds. It's 61.8° at the moment and we are under a "Special Weather Statement" for Hazardous Weather. They say a storm is coming with 30 mph winds and that it just might get a tad nasty.
