Unfortunately Dave "Red" is the wrong color. They are now colored so Blue that we are going to need a couple of Barrels of Cosmoline, Don's backhoe and a lot of barf bags by the time they are done.
The libs now have a "supermajority" in the State Senate and I believe lack just one vote of a "supermajority" in the State House. They are talking about raising everything from the income tax to the gas tax. The mayor of Portland has pulled their "Street Tax" off of the Portland May ballot after apparently having assurances from the buffoons in Salem for more money from the rest of us.

There are at least 17 gun bills that have been pre-session filed and at least 4 or 5 that I am aware of that will be filed "in session". The ones that haven't been filed yet are ones that Ginny Burdick, Dembrow, Floyd Prozanski (your senator I believe) and the newby Sara Gelser from Corvallis have already been getting "air time" on and mouthing off about. It is my belief they are waiting to file on these in an attempt to cut short or cut off any longer or protracted period of time for public comment and resentment.
It is going to take a concerted effort from all of us or we won't have any guns left. What is amazing is that the last several times they have tried, those for this nonsense have been 2 to 1 at the hearings and the written letters / emails against these bills have been in the order of 5 to 1 and yet they still push forward with them.

You should be safe Tiny, the flock of libs won't be hitting in full force until Feb. 2nd.

What's the conferencing about? Have they discovered that Oregon was originally surveyed wrong and Portland does in fact belong to Washington? One can wish, that happened to Willamina and half of it is in the wrong county.
