Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 34.1, clear and very frosty this morning. Sheep man out at the farm putting sheep fence up around the North field. A few more days and he will have upwards of 300 head of coyote bait running around. Lock 'n Load!

We were just discussing how effective a Barret (sp) 50 cal rifle would be on a coyote. You'd just have to shoot it right down its throat. Then it would be self cleaning and the only thing left would be a pelt. We were also debating how they would work on the sea lions up at Bonneville Dam too.

Probably not as impressive as you might think with FMJ's. What is impressive is the range you could shoot at...and the $5.00 it cost at each pull of the trigger.
There are quite a few people from this area that go to Arizona each year, they must be the smart ones or already retired
