Hey Brett. I have been thinking of that teflon tape you used on the fuel pump. I am not sure if that stuff is rated for the diesel or not. Just a thought?
As for the turbo, the back hold down bolt was a lot looser than I tighten them to. I felt that was the real culprit to the leak as the o rings showed no sign of being pinched or damaged.

Hope it is still running good for you!
I didn't use teflon on the suction side as it was just a brass fitting over the plastic fitting. The only place I used it was where the discharge barb screws into the connection of the pump body. It definitely appears to be leaking at the inlet connection, and I tried to get the hose clamps as tight as possible without them letting go or crimping the inlet barb too tight. So I don't know. I'm gonna take it back off and run it with the pump free and see if I can't nail down where it's coming from.
Guys I like to here this kind of kindness. Cuttn4Fun, thanks for helping out a brother FTE'er. Reps sent. Use some diesel dope on the inlet side, let it set and if that's the problem it should be cured. God bless,
