i know it has at least one bad glow plug, probably 2.
like i said before, i was not sure on the life expectancy of the powerstroke injectors. i just figured it was the same 1100-150k miles as the IDI injectors.
Tom, I'm not saying you need injector work either, but if it were me, I'd still have them checked means you are getting in there. That's up to you though.

i am of the same feeling. if i am in there, everything is getting looked at. not just what is bad.
i would rather spend a couple hundred to know the injectors are still good than leave them be and guess.
not looking at everything while it is apart is kinda like putting a pep buys starter in and expecting it to last.
you don't change just the bad part, you make sure everything is in tip top shape before putting it back together.
unless you like tearing things apart every few weeks.
well, just got off the phone with Jim and he said pretty much the same all all of you did.
so i am going to wait until snow plow season is done in a month or two and then rip it apart and sent them out to him to give them a once over.
