Which Injectors??

Ok fella's, I need a little advice here..

I just turned 400,000 on the truck the other night, which gets me all giggly excited! However, along with that excitement comes the realization that a LOT of stuff is ready for replacement on the truck. I'm battling a slipping transmission, worn injectors, and worn glow plugs among other things.

I'm looking for advice on what injectors to run? The truck is an '02 F250 with 6637 filter, 4" turbo back, and a DP Tuner with 40T and 80E modes. I've been leaning towards some Beans stage 1's, but I'm curious as to whether or not they'll work in a basically stock motor? Also, will I have to send the tuner back in to Jody for a re-tune with the new injectors? Any other injectors you guys can recommend for my setup? The truck tows pretty much 50% of it's life, every night. Thanks!

I just recently put a set of Casserly (Full Force) stage I's in my truck. Everything else was basically stock, just upgraded to a t-500 hpop, but they ran fine before that too. You will need to send the chip back to Jody to reprogram for the single shot injectors however.

If you buy the injectors from Jody he will burn your chip for free.

Nice, so most of you are recommending casserly / full force then. Any specific reason? Or just because they're proven? The injectors Jody sells are also Casserly?

Not sure on the injectors, I'm assuming they've been replaced with 400k on it, I know they haven't been replaced for over 100k. The trans has had one rebuild on it as well, but it was a run of the mill shop I'm sure, it's always shifted funny since I've owned it. I'm not the first owner.

Well they're all the same price for stage 1's, and all have the same specs. I think I'll order some casserly's from Jody and get some re-tunes out of it

Good luck and you should be real happy in what you receive. Let us know which sticks you get. 1's, 2's or hybrids. Chet

How much louder are the stage ones? and when are they louder?

See Im coming out of my Duramax in NOV and I already have my 7.3 that im working on and would like to do injectors while im doing glow plugs.. But the 7.3 is loud inside the cabin compared to the Dmax and after some of my trips towing that are 24hrs straight I dont want to be deaf.. But I want it to pull "like" my dmax.. I know I'm asking for a lot...

Beans injectors = Cass Injectors FYI..

Can't go wrong w/ any vendors mentioned.. I have two sets of stage one's. The fuel economy gain is well worth the price.. Give Clay at Riffraff a shout. He will take care of you

They are louder sometimes mostly at idle and slow moving. On the road you won't notice it. Buy some sound proofing. Theres a post on here somewhere. On the inside firewall and under the seats makes a big difference. Takes time but well worth it. The EX already has it. Good luck Chet.

Happy with my Casserly stage II's. The decision between stage II and Hybrids came down to the fact that my budget wasn't ready to build the whole fuel system to keep up with the hybrids.

I'm secretly hoping that by the time I'm ready for hybrids, I'll be building an Ex for the wife that I can put my stage II's in.
