Injectors Please

Its finally that time, yes I have to spend a lot of money on new sticks, but I've been wanting to get it done for a while! The truck is starting to occasionally spit blue smoke off the start, which means injector o-rings. The old injectors are stock originals with 260,000 miles on them. I have a chip and the next thing i need to get done is to put an intercooler on which will happen in the next couple months, which by the way, another post will contain my whole entire 6.0 intercooler build. BUT what kind of injectors does everyone recomend? A new turbo is not in question at the moment, but I want a little above stock for my chip and intercooler. I have heard the baby swamps are solid as well as all industrial injection sticks are really nice. What do yall think about it, any and all input is welcome to help me make the best decision for my obs!

StageIs is all the turbo is going to take.
Then you'll need a hpop to support them

Jim at rosewood is one of the best. And number one in customer service.

So if I get stage1s, I would need a new hpop too?

Your hpop probably won't let those injectors work to there full potential. You could probably make due for a while but under heavy throttle it'll stumble. Stage 1's are a big jump from stock power. With the right supporting mods they are capable of new or maybe a little more than new truck power. What trans do you have. If it's a auto it may need building. Someone with better knowledge of them will chime in on that. If it's a 5 speed the clutch won't like them. Bigger injectors are a commitment. But the make a huge difference in go.

I only have an e4od. and i really dont want to do the transmission any harm. What do yall think about jim's premium stock injectors? Do you think they will bring the truck alive because that's really what i'm going for.

Got to recommend the Rosewood Stage 1.5. Manageable EGTs and no HPOP or turbo upgrade necessary. Paired the sticks with a PHP 6 position switch and couldn't be more satisfied. Other mods are listed in my sig below.

The week after I installed the injectors I went on a 3,000 mile trip pulling a 10,000# 5th Wheel. Went as fast or as slow as I wanted to, and never had issues with hills. Good luck with your choice.

If you drive normal, your trans will be ok with ones. I ran stage ones with my stock trans for a few years before I pulled it and upgraded it. It was still working ok. I do NOT hotrod around, but do work the crap out of it.

As for not needing to upgrade the hpop, you will need to to get more potential out of the injectors. It also depends what kind of shape yours is in too. When I got my stage ones and php chip I couldn't pull my trailer empty unless it was in stock mode until I upgraded my hpop. Truck only had about 140k on it. Threw a 1211 anytime I tried.

Get a bigger injector then you think you will want because down the road you might change your mind about what power you want. You can have a tuner detune it until you get the supporting mods so your trans will stay together etc.

I was thinking stage1s would be my way to go. I am really conservative driving wise, and towing is really only times when it's really heavy loads for 50miles or less. I have a DPtuner from Jody and run the city and highways tunes all day. So I guess the really question is what kind of job is it to replace the hpop bec that would be my problem if I had one?

That's a easy job, I've done it several times. There are write ups on it in the stickies on top of the page.

Ok and is Jim's the best place to buy the new hpop? All I've heard was the T500 from everyone is the way to go. Any insight on where the best place to buy one is?

A T500 or a 17* for a Superduty will work as well foot Stage 1s
