Tran Troubles

I have a 96 5.0 with E4OD trans and my problem just started. The trans shifts fine but when I slow down its like the trans downshifts hard, only once each time I slow down. When this happens I can feel the gas petal move, I know this sounds crazy. Any body got any ideas????

The transmission is 100% electronic controlled, check for codes. Yes, you can have a stored code or Key On Engine Off (KOEO) test failure without triggering a Check Engine Light.
