engine light

They put in the new DPF pump and it cost just over $925.00. Dealer said they think it is alright now and no more low pressure readings.

I checked my records to see what the truck has been costing me in repairs. Not gas/insurance/ or things like that. Just mechanical things. In the 12 months/year January 2014 to Dec. 2014 it added up to $4,722.24. That includes oil changes, fuel filters, and batteries, alternators, brakes, and some other things. And I was lucky b/c had to get my front hubs replaced right at the warranty limit and that would have been another $800 plus. Bought my truck new Dec 2010 (2011 truck) and always take great care of it. People say I am going to wash the paint off of it. (PS - remember to turn those hubs every month and drive a bit or you will need new hubs too) I also had to replace twice two of the rear back up sensors as they went south. Love the truck otherwise but the truck is really babied so wonder about the Built Ford Tough idea, at least in my situation. I must admit, I have had more problems than I would have anticipated. I have decided come Spring the truck will be for sale. Hopefully I don't get any extra big bills in the meantime. Otherwise, the truck will go before that.
BTW - Happy New Year everyone!
