If a POS twin I-beam will hold up, I would think a Dana 44 would be just fine.

This conversion would be worthwhile for a Suburban because 4-door broncos are such a rarity... but for a plain 'ol pick-up? Why?! You would have to be a serious Ford hater.

don't you love how the bed and cab lines are so far opposed where the two meet

Oh the ad and the truck have "run away" written all over them. Why are all the pics from the front? Why no pics of the interior, or under the hood? Why doesn't the hood close all the way?

The twin I beam is pretty stout, even the weaker TTB 4x4 front end used D44HD or D50 components, the GM 10bolt that most likely has is not even of D44 strength.

Hi all, ill just throw this forward to suggest you havent got this problem to yourselves, for those interested enough to Google "Trade Me",a NZ site maybe like your Craigslist? And search Ford f150, you should come up with a part restored beater, transplanted with a chev diesel. Ouch. (Sorry I don't know how to post the link)
