Hi if a 95 powetstroke shifts fine until its warm what's up?.. I was thinking maybe transmission cooler? Anyone have any other possibilities of what it could be?

 

Maybe if you could explain the problem we might have some suggestions. The first obvious suggestion is to see if any codes are stored. The auto parts stores that read codes free CANNOT read these codes.

 

It shifts hard once it warm no codes showing up

 

These transmissions normally shift kinda rough. Is your OD light blinking? Does it slip? Does it stall backing up or coming to a stop? Like Mark said, we need more specifics to be able to help. If it just "shifts hard", it might be normal. Even my brand new HD unit shifts fairly hard when you are really getting on it. It's smooth and crisp, but pretty firm. How are you driving it? Does it seem to have a hard time going into gear and then slam into it?
