"Intellectual conversating time"...oh boy, that'll be difficult for this simpleton!
Here's some preliminary fitment pics of my rear bumper project.
Sorry for the poor quality of the pics. I have got it wire wheeled/prepped for fabrication and some templates made for mounting, but I need to get me some 3/8" plate steel to whittle the brackets out of.
Alan I knew you had Jeff's truck front axle all squared away, like always.
Chip thanks for steeping up and starting Dec and thanks Dan for the link. I had to ride shotgun to Holden to help the bro inlaw haul some cattle to the meat locker. Blind, cold and mad is not a fun to have cattle to load or unload....
The highway 13 was very slick, doing 70 in a duely with cattle loose in a stock trailer and sliding around makes for NO fun.
Seen a roll over on the north side of hwy 13 when we were coming south. They had just extracted the guy he was not even on the stretcher yet....
Chris that bumper is nice for free, should clean up nicely.
Alan 4 HB for one monster truck....are the 4 trucks he has worth what you are asking for EQ? I doubt it..... Good luck with that.
A buddy just called, he's going this weekend to look at a 79 Bronco, 400, 4 wheel drive, ran when parked...1200.00 as is. He isn't interested in it but thought I might be or might know somebody who might be.
As far as the high boys go, one is supposed to have new skyjacker suspension, one has a "balanced and blueprinted 400", two have 300's in them, and one has been sitting in field for 30 years. Apparently, one was restored not long ago, then hit, because he said it has a bent frame. The thing that's making me consider it is one of them is the truck I've been looking for. A '76 factory green on green 360/4 speed. I still haven't seen pictures of them yet. I haven't told him either way, yet.
