Is he going to deliver them all? Something to factor in.
Jeff look up the springs on Dorman or ATS. I'll guess you might get $175 to $200 for the set, maybe....Drop them on craigslist for $250 and go from there.
happy December everyone.......hope they are real jewels that will sell for big money alan.. ..i will try to getup that way today.. you would not believe where i finally found the trim tag on that car.... i just hope some of the numbers i copied are the right ones for the paint code
yea alan..on the drivers side trunk floor ... no where did it have a PNT then a code or anything like that...do any of these numbers look like a paint code? they were just on the tag

U946L is red, is that what you're after? BC/CC refers to a basecoat/clearcoat paint system.
thanks chip...yes it is a red color.. so i guess that U946L must be it.. i guess i need a pint? of that paint.. and a small amount of clear coat and the correct thinners or activators. i already have some supplies but not sure if they will work with whatever paint i get..i have some sealing primer that i guess should work with any paint.. i have never painted plastic body parts before so it will be a first for me..
If all you have to paint is bumper cover, a pint is fine. If you have to blend or paint the hood and fenders, then you may want a little more.
...and yeah, Chip beat me to it. U946L.
I got the Jeep blocked out and the second coat of primer on. Now my heater crapped out on me.
I finally got the belts and plug wires on the '73. I guess I need a coil since I can't locate any. I know I'll find them after I buy one. I'm inching away at getting this thing running.
Scrub the bejeezus out of the plastic with a scotch brite, comet and dish liquid. Use an adhesion promoter to help the primer bite to the plastic. If the plastic has existing paint or primer, there's no need for adhesion promoter. Or the smarter option, take it to Sparta for that crazy Ford truck guy to paint, good company and great work.
good morning missouri... alan can you order the paint for me, then i'll come and visit for a bit today... i should be able to handle painting it..all i have to paint is the new bumper cover and the original plastic grill shell.. the rest of the car didnt get hurt at all.. is there anything besides thge drivers manifold and rear glass you need from that 75 out front? i will give ya a call after i am sure ya'll are up and at it
I have a doctor's appointment this morning, then I have to replace my shop heater and get crackin' on some of this body work. I only have until this weekend to get it all done. My second surgery is supposed to be bright and early on Monday morning.
RC. That's all I can think of. I'll make sure I have the paint for you and everything else you need.
No deal on the monster truck. I finally saw the pictures and I saw about $5K worth of stuff. He wanted $8K cash or trade. There were a TON of parts but only ONE truck that looked like a truck and it needed $1,500 worth of body work. The rest was parts scattered everywhere. Cab here, bed there, chassis with a front clip over there. ......No way. I'm not losing my butt on a bad trade again.
