Good call Alan, stand your ground on your monster truck price! And best of luck on surgery #2.
Well I know for sure I walked 1,382 Ft +1,001 Ft +382 Ft +297 Ft +982 Ft cause that was all pushing the measure wheel.....At X$ per ft, it all has to be exact.
After lots of welding post caps/cross braces, barb wire post tabs and rehanging a few gates it has been a long day to be out in the wind working.
Attention: Springfield 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals Participants! For 2015 there will not be a 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals in Springfield, MO. Many factors contributed into this tough decision. We do however plan to have a Monster Truck Grandstand show on June 20 & 21. We most likely will try to include trough truck racing and/or other features along with the Monster Trucks. We know it cannot replace a 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals, but it does allow us to still be active in Springfield, MO and the Ozarks. We hope you can join us there, as well as any of the other 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals events on the schedule. Thanks again for your support! NOTE: We will open up a Class for 4-Wheel Drive Trucks at our Fall Street Machine Nationals on Sept. 26 & 27 in Springfield.
Rich. I just got my early bird notice, too. I guess that means I better get crackin' on EQ to get the engine running the way it's supposed to be. I'd like to put it in the mud bog this year.
I FINALLY got the Jeep jambed in, so I can put it together tomorrow morning. It was only supposed to be done last Saturday. This feelin' like crap all the time is starting to tick me off. I actually felt good this morning, but the dang doctors made sure I felt like garbage again in no time.
good morning missouri...i guess i will headto the shop and see what i can get done..i have paint (thanks to alan) but i dont think the weather is going to cooperate with me..i needto seewhat i need to get the heater fired up so i can get a few things done anyway
I got the Jeep assembled and delivered. I also got the heater motor squared away. There was a bad connector under the dash. That was fun to find.
I just brought the Ranger in and rebuilt the quarter panel where he jack-knifed a trailer in to it. Now after lunch I get to smooth out the rough work.
The body work is done on the Ranger and it's in primer. I hope to have it in color by lunch time.
RC. I have a story for you. When I bought this '73 I remember the heat riser was mangled and didn't work, so I didn't take it. I forgot all about it until I went to put the driver's side manifold on the truck. The passenger side is already on. Then I remembered you gave me the heat riser off the parts truck the manifold came from. You said to hang on to it so I could show my girls what a heat riser was since a perfect working one was so rare. Well, I did! Not only did I hang on to it, but I remembered right where it was! I'll be bolting the driver's side together this morning.
Alan, you working double time is going to make you easy for them to sedate on Monday. These people you work for better appreciate all you do and in the time you get their stuff done.
