We are having a late Christmas with the grand daughter that we do not get to see very often..... Its been a year since we got to see her, and they grow up so fast.
Funeral services for a friend of the family on Penny's side maybe tomorrow or Monday.
Aww man, that sucks. .....but good you got to see the grand daughter.
We just got back from the in-law's Christmas shin dig ourselves. They got me two plain black Pocket T-shirts. ...They know me so well!
It was nice to take it easy after a busy day at work. I showed up an hour early and it was 1700 before I realized I didn't take a lunch break. I DID manage to make some money, so that's good.
Tell Penny we're thinking about her and her family.
I'm excited to go look at this Torino this morning. I hope it's as nice as it is in the pictures he sent me. I'm kinda bummed that he wanted the Ranger instead of the '73, but that just leaves me a nice '73 to drive around for a while.
RATS! I just got an email from the guy saying he's too busy to do anything today. Maybe this week sometime. I'm getting a vibe this deal slipping away. I guess it would've been cool, but I still have five dents. ......and that's pretty dang cool, too.
Whaddupp fellow babies
Taking a break to feed my neck, and relax a shoulder. Tim and I have been outside taking our Christmas light display down. All of the extension cords are rolled up, and most lights too. Sure took longer to get them up then to take em' down.
Alan, did you say Torino. I'd love to have another late 60's early 70 Torino. Yes I've had a few. A pair of 66 Fairlane tow door hard tops too.
Been talking to the C.F.O. about some dual exhaust for Bear. And it may happen, some day. Not sure what I want though. I know I want a deep tone, and some volume. So far the only Flowmaster I've heard that I like is the 40 series. The Magnaflow that I've heard, isn't what I want. Borla....I like that, but I'd have to sell the truck to be able to afford it. Humph.
Bob, we'll see what happens. I'm not getting excited anymore until I tie the Torino down on the trailer. It's a bummer to get your hopes up on something to have the other guy back out at the last second. I guess I'll just go to the shop and tinker around with the Thunderstang a little.
I got to spend Christmas day in a treestand and we had our family Christmas Saturday. Now my home has been invaded by My Little Ponies! Still much better than a real pony so I guess I dodged a bullet for this year at least. It's looking like my big New Year's plans are to put a heater core in a 97 F150. Nothing rings in the new year like pulling a dash!
I don't like anything about those trailblazers. From what I've seen of them they're a pain to work on and have constant problems. Everytime I do a heater core I'm reminded of why I change my coolant regularly!
