I hear ya on the clouds and fog. Seems like it has been weeks since the sun has been out.

Doing OK here.
Had a little incident with the oldest over the weekend. He decided to stay out until 0430 without calling to let us know where he was. Not a good move on his part...

Been there and done that... He has the battle scars to prove it....
Of course I was anover-bearing idiot parent at the time (according to him)... Funny, but 10 years later, I became a whole lot more intelligent...

Not a good move on his part!! What was he doing? Hope it was worth it to him since I am guessing it will be a while before he goes out again.

That is great Randy. LOL

Bad day at work. I had to go home and get my laptop because the work computer crapped out (I was getting a new one Thursday). LOL Now I get the new one tomorrow.

I find it funny that as the kids age(out of the know-it-all teen years) the parents suddenly become more wise...

Some lessons have to be learned the hard way I guess.

Just hanging out at a friends house, likely playing video games or watching movies.
The worst part is the not knowing where he was, or exactly who he was with, which I'll take the blame for that.
The fact is he left, hurriedly, at about 7 am Saturday for a wrestling tournament and didn't come home until 4:30 am Sunday and didn't even call to let us know what was going on. He left his cell phone in his room...

Wow Mike - he left his Cell behind??? That's a pretty serious "opps!" For kids these days... I can see how that would have added to your anxiety too!

Has he figure out how badly he screwed up?

Yeah, amazing in this day and age that a kid would forget something like a phone. But, he woke up late and was in a hurry. He did not come home after the tournament to get it either, too focused on what he had planned after. We were gone all day, and didn't get home until after 10 Saturday night.

Yes, the anxiety level was pretty high. My wife was almost hysterical, the more time went by the worse she got.

Yes, he knows it was a big screw up. He knew when his mom met him in the driveway at 4:30 barefoot on the ice...
He had been afforded quite a bit of freedom up to this point, but that has been dialed way back. He is really a good kid, has his head screwed on right(most of the time) and just had a lapse of good judgement.

So no problems on the drive back I assume. Do any mpg testing on the drive back or play with the programmer?
