Actually there are two cables for the throttle as mandated by law here.. Pull and push. (Both are actually pull but work from opposite directions on the throttle pulley).. Plus a choke cable.
The carbs are all on the same rack, but are independantly connected to each other to create a common shaft.
After I went through the carbs this fall, I did a mechanical sync by measuring the gap of the throttle plates at closed throttle settings and made sure that they were all cracking open at the same time when all the slack (all but a few thousandths) was taken out..
Hopefully good enough..

Sounds good enough to me!
I know some guys go nuts with sync on carbs or throttle bodies.

Well I know that technically I maybe leaving a few HP on the table because not all cylinders and their associated carbs are equal - but - as long as it will idle well and have good throttle response, I'm happy...
Vacuum Syncing 6 carbs on this bike is a task that most Honda shops would not take on for less than a few hundred dollars..
This bike along with my Victory and 69 Camaro SS will be sold in the spring.

The small amount of power left on the table from the carbs opening a few thousandths off is not worth the hassle IMO

Why are you getting rid of the toys?
Time to down-size... Getting ready to retire in a year... The Camaro and CBX were bought as investments. They need to be turned into cash.
I still have my GT40 and will keep that (for a while) as well as my electric motorcycle projects..
Everything else needs to go...
Oh yeah - and my 56 Chevy will be going as well....
