i can get a new turn signal switch but the rest is missing like the little canceling cam and the copper button for the horn. when i got the truck all this was missing and the p.o. used hand signals and finger gesters the signal with, i don't intend to do that all the wrecking yards around here are missing these parts or they are broken because someone broke them trying to get them out. i am also looking for a long bed because my old one is rusted out on the bottom or would it be easier to fiberglass the bottom.i am pretty sure i would have to cut out the rust first but i can do all of that once the bed is off.
I recently bought a new turn signal switch for the tilt column I put in my '69 F-100. Since its for a tilt column, it's more expensive than a switch for a fixed column. It came with the turn signal cancelling cam.
You are probably much better off ponying up the money for a new switch. The plastic of an old one is likely going to be brittle. If a used one isn't broken when you put it on, it probably will be shortly there after and you'll be taking things apart again to replace it, yet again.
When you install the replacement turn signal switch, put a little white lithium grease on the arms of the cam. This will make it smoother and last longer.
