Has any of you ever used one of these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/UNIVE...QQcmdZViewItem I need a new turn signal switch and the one from BOTP are $79. NPD has some reproduction ones for $49, I planned on going with that but I saw that switch on ebay so I wondered if anyone had ever put one in a 73-79. It's just a thought. I would leave the turn signal switch that is my column there because of the brake lights and the the horn. My main problem is my turn signal cam is broken and if I leave the lever in there my left blinker stays on constantly simply because of the weight of the lever.
I've gotten one of those before and it was listed for 78-79. I had to use my dremel to grind the rivet off that was holding my cam on my switch to get it off and put that one on. But it didn't fit right so I put my original one back on and used a little screw and washer to hold it in place. Maybe I need to go get another one and retry it, that was years ago.
I got the whole switch from bronco graveyard for 45.00 I think and they are not bad to change them, we had that kind in older trucks and that was why you would see one signaling for miles and miles and miles.. I agree with million do it right and be done with it

Hmmmmmmmmm? OK, I have a 76 2wd Non-tilt wheel that had a manual trans out of the factory. I will be converting it to a automatic trans with a floor shifter.
What is the difference between the switch for the auto and stick? Will the tilt wheel switch worok in the non tilt housing?
I had planned on doing it right with the correct one, but then I saw the one on ebay so I was just wondering and thought I would ask. I'll be getting the one from Direct ford parts Thanks guys.
That explains why I had to get one someplace else, I would of course need the obsolete one, 77 auto with cruise, good luck with yours..
New switches (use with cruise control = D5TZ-13341-B) are hard to find for 1975/77 F100/350's, but it's not the end of the world...the same switch also fits 1975/77 Econolines with cruise.
