Why are body guys like that? I know they have to take on late model fender benders to get the quick cash flow from the insurance companies but....

I feel your pain. My guy had my 54 from June 1998 to late july 1999. But there was a lot of work to do to it. And he swore he would never take another old truck or car like that again. But of course he has done many since then including some of his own and my 54 again in Feb 2016. But this time it only took him a month. He will get my 55 in January.

I’ll be giddy if I get it this Spring.
I SO understand...... mine did the same thing ..... February 1st is the deadline ..... I’m bringing home fixed or not ..... and he has been told and agreed I get my money back ......

Abe

I think that is my problem .... the guy does great work and since I have taken mine there he has been discovered by a Pantra club ...... I was there at his shop and there are now 3 Pantras (in progress I might add) and a 70 Mach 1. All this time mine just sits in the back ....

The guy I took mine to does amazing work and was only charging $25/hour so was hesitant to take mine back. But it ended up taking over 6 years! Mostly waiting to get started. I have to admit the final results were worth the wait.

Thanks BJ! All in all, it took more than 10 years and of course was way more expensive than planned. I just didn't see that as I just paid a couple thousand every 6 to 12 months.

Tony

When you travel half the year and don't see it every day it is easier to be patient I guess.

I guess I don't feel so bad that mine was at the paint shop for a couple of months over three years.
