4R100 rebuild issues need help
Rebuit trany after losing all gears filled the trany and while cycling through th gear everything seemed to fine tookit around the block topped of the fluid and went for a drive and it will not shift out of second and i lost reverse. What did i do wrong? Any help would be appriceated.

Nope, not possible, try again.
No solenoids are used to engage reverse. You can energize or disconnect all the solenoids are reverse will still work.
If you don't have third or fourth gears and reverse doesn't work then the direct clutch isn't working. Something went wrong inside the direct clutch.

It talks about the 2-3 up shift valve stuck because a bolt over tightening which causes the valve to stick after a rebuild.
He also indicates there's a new upgraded valve made to prevent this condition.

New problem
It ended up being a sticky 3-4 valve ran great, ran errands around town with no problems shifted great then came home went to park and it acted like the torque converter wouldnt release put it drive rpms drop to 500 and somtimes stalls with foot on brake if given power it moves but is quite noisy with hard shifts reverse works fine? What now
