It's off I need to thank everyone who had helped me lately with my 150000 wear out adventure in replacing a bunch of stuff I would be paying a lot more if it wasn't for this site and it's people. Ok so when I face the truck down hill it take a bit more time to crank then when it's level and facing up hill I will post videos of both as you will see in the video it takes the icp a lot longer to build. I have seen plenty of threads about oil leak by when facing up hill but not much about facing down. Here are the videos The first video is a normal start the second is facing down hill both are after cold soaks and no smoke after start up http://s1336.photobucket.com/user/ia...bile%20Uploads
Bad dummy plugs can give long cold starts as well.
One way to check is first thing in the morning is to pull the ICP sensor, the oil level should be near the threads, if not it's bleeding down and most likely the dummy plug on the passsenger side.
If it passes that test it's more than likely the driver's side DP.
Oil will leak out past the dummy plug O rings as it sits weather hot or cold. Our HPOP takes a few seconds to refill the rails. I just replaced mine since I was there doing the STC and EGR. Passenger side was good so oil was up to the threads at the ICP. I pulled the driver side and the lower O ring was distorted and almost cut in half. From what I read its very seldom the stand pipes that fail but your there already. My starts had been a little slow but I hadn't troubleshot it. Just figured it was the STC.
