P1249 Code
Just got back from about 700 miles pulling 10,000 lb trailer and got P1249 code. I have searched and sounds like this code is not an issue, just want to confirm. I have the red line disconnected from waste gate, should I reconnect or leave it. I have Gearhead tunning, do I need a boost fooler or just not worry about the code? Thanks for your input.

Running the vehicle in it's designed configuration is always best to prevent a failure of a component or engine.
Reattach the red line, clear codes and test drive vehicle.
Do you have a Boost Gauge? and, What MOD's if any do you have?

In terms of mods, 4" turbo back exhaust, Air Raid intake, Gearhead tuning, 6.0 cooler, Insight for gauges. When I got the code, had just finished a long trip and had some hard pulls, but no issues. I did notice some surge, so will be getting a new wheel. Boost got into the mid 20's.
