At over $1000 a pop at the tire store, you don't want to invite premature tire wear... I don't know how that factors in on your cost analysis for the hassle.

The alignment is fine. They said the toe in was off when I brought it in and after all the front end work they aligned it. What I was saying is the steering wheel isn't perfectly centered when it's driving straight. I just figured a good alignment shop would have centered it as part of the job.

Your right they should have ! If they adjusted the toe thats how the wheel got off center. Also they should have road tested there work and they would have seen the outa whack wheel!!Just went thru this with my old Benz ! headed home wheel cockeyed ! Went right back to the shop and they straightened it out!They might not be happy to see you show up but they dang well were happy to take your money!
