ive been gathering research on performing an MAF coversion on my 460. was wondering if anyone knows where to find wiring diagrams. ive found some in my searches that seem pretty straight forward. but they dont show where and how to add the extra wire terminals for each injector on the ECU harness on the truck.

I'd search through the forums for someone who has done this and message them. Or contact Fiveology Racing (they sell kits). Tell them you are worried about doing the wiring and you want to make sure you'd be capable of doing it yourself.

Ive seen the kits but they are pretty spendy im gonna give a go at piecing it together myself.

I agree, the kits are quite pricey. Go to a pic-n-pull then strip some wiring harnesses out of a few donor vehicles. You can use the wires and pins for the injectors.
What computer (ECM/PCM/EEC) are you planning to use?

I would have to use the mustang A9L computer because ive got the 5 speed then get a tweecer unit for it so i can tune for the 24# injectors ot atleast thats what it seems i have to do from what ive read.. wasnt quite sure what i was gonna do for the rest of the setup tho. Also what do you think of this video? i thought it was pretty cool. but does it apply to the 460 truck application??

I think it is applicable. It's still a Speed Density to MAF swap.

Yeah thats what i thought. the only thing is that it seems to me that his harness is already setup for SEFI and he just adds MAF to it. Would the truck ECU harness have the extra pin slots for all 8 injectors and MAF or would i have to wire an ECU pin connector from say a mustang up to the truck?

I think there are plenty of pins not used. These weren't complex circuits.

Speed Density and MAF computers (PCM) share the same 80 pin connector.
Plenty of open real estate to work with...
Speed Density - SEFI is extremely rare.............
