94 460 MAF Conversion

94 460 MAF Conversion

Ok, I know there are a mountain of threads about this, I searched it, 500 posts and nothing I'm looking for. Please don't tell me to search it.

What is the complete list of components and work I'll need to convert from speed density to MAF in a 94 F250 with a 460, 5 speed manual.

ECU from 96 or 97, right tranny
Engine harness
What MAF sensors can I use? Does it have to be a particular size?
Any other sensors I'll need?

I'll also be replacing the distributor, coil, plugs, wires, wiring harness, hell maybe even key cylinder. I'm having wildly sporadic ignition problems and I'm done with it. Yard sale on sketchy ignition parts.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I'd like to have all my parts gathered in a week or two. Thanks for reading!

You can add the the wiring to your existing harness. You'll have to move a couple of pins in the 60 pin connector anyway. Don't let that scare you, it's really easy.

You can use a mustang ECM and mass air sensor. Best ECM is a A3M as it has a higher calibration limit.
