manual Glow plug test

How would i test my relay if i have Manual GPs also should i hear a clicking sound or any sound when they are energized?

The relay will definitely click.

Can the relay go bad if you have manual glow plugs ?

Of course it can. It doesnt care if a manuel switch or the control box grounds it. Did you check voltage on glow plug side of relay? If i remember correctly GPR7 is the bwd replacement. Less than $20 around here. Some on may know the motorcraft number. That of course is just the relay
